Puerto Escondido

Oaxaca se ha convertido en uno de mis destinos favoritos desde hace tiempo, su cultura, su gastronomía, su gente y todos sus rincones merecen largos recorridos, tenía la idea de, algún día visitar sus playas y afortunadamente, gracias a Samora Luxury Resort pude conocer un poco de su gran encanto.

Oaxaca has become one of my top destinations since long time ago, their culture, their gastonomy, their people and every corner deserves to be visited, I had the idea, of visiting their beaches and lucky for me, thanks to Samora Luxury Resort I was able of met some of their charming.

Samora Luxury Resort es un majestuoso hotel ubicado en Puerto Escondido, suuuuper privado, tranquilo, con unas instalaciones irreales, cada rincón es super instagrammeable, listo para fotos, una alberca que parece infinita y al borde de la playa.

Toda la vibra de la costa tiene un aire mágico, vivimos experiencias que estaban en mi check list, la playa estaba sola para nosotros, así que la disfrutamos al máximo, tomamos las fotos que quisimos, grabamos todo lo que pudimos, bailamos en la playa, jugamos con las mascotas que viven alrededor, convivimos hasta el amanecer, disfrutamos de una fogata a lado del mar, escuchamos música en vivo en un bar, bailamos en la terraza y descubrimos el fenómeno de la bioluminiscencia en la laguna de Manialtepec.

All the vibes from the coast has a magical touch, we lived experiences that were on my check list, the beach was all alone for us, so we enjoyed to the top, we took as many photos as we wanted, we recorded everything we wanted to, we danced at the beach, we played with the dogs at the beach, we party until the sunrise, we enjoyed a fire next to the sea, we listen live music at a bar, we dances at a terrace and discover the bioluminiescence at the lagoon.

Puntos mega extra al hotel por ser pet friendly, las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y puedes elegir una con una vista al mar espectacular, el staff siempre atento con todos los huéspedes y la verdad tienen una magnífica mano para la comida y las bebidas, ¡no podía dejar de comer! Cada platillo fue una verdadera delicia.

Extra points for the hotel at it is pet friendly, the rooms are gigantic and you can choose yours with view at the sea, the staff was always extra caring with us and each guest and to be honest, the food and the drink were spectacular, I couldn’t stop eating! Each meal was really delicious

Ahora, yo odio asolearme así que tengo que compartirles que la mitad de la alberca cuenta con sombra pero también tienen un jacuzzi que tiene sombra todo el tiempo con lo que tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de un buen chapuzón sin tener que quemarme todo el cuerpo. Y como siempre, cuando vayan a la playa, no olviden el repelente de mosquitos como me pasó a mí y ahora tengo ronchas en todas las piernas jejeje

Now, I hate to be tanned so I need to share something really good about this hotel, half of the pool i son a shadow and they also have a jacuzzi with shadow all the time, so I had the chance to be on the water all the time without being tanned. And as always, if you go to the beach, take with you mosquito repellent cuz I forgot mine and now I have marks in my legs.

La zona turística más cercana también me pareció increíble, un estilo super hippie, desentendido, cómodo, y alegre sobre todo. Restaurantes buenísimos, música en vivo, el mood entero para estar en la playa repleta de cojines y recostarte para disfrutar de una piña colada, también encontramos un lugar donde bailamos toda la noche, una terraza donde pudimos disfrutar la vista de todo el puerto.

The closest touristic area it was also unbelievable, hippie, chilly, comfy and joyful among all. Excellent restaurants, live music, perfect mood to take a drink at the beach, we also found a perfect spot to dance all night: in a terrace! A fantastic view to the beach.

Otro día tomamos un tour a una playa virgen, donde vimos la puesta de sol más perfecta que he visto, por encima de todas porque no había nadie más en el lugar que nosotros, al caer la noche, nos prendieron una fogata con cocos para ahuyentar a los mosquitos y poder alumbrarnos un poco, aprovechamos para calentar unos bombones y platicar alrededor de la fogata, así que taché algo en mi lista de cosas por hacer: fogata en la playa. De regreso cruzamos por la laguna de Manialtepec donde hay plancton y parecen luciérnagas marinas, brillan como pequeños puntitos en el agua cuando lo tocas, pudimos meternos a la laguna y se te quedan “pegados” y entonces es como si brillarás en la oscuridad, fue precioso, las cámaras no perciben la bioluminiscencia pero siempre quedará ese recuerdo guardado en mi corazón y en mi mente.

Another day we took a tour to a virgin beach where we saw the most magical sunset, above all because there was no one else in the beach but us, in the night we set a bonfire with coconuts to banish the mosquitos and to make a Little light for us, we took advantage of the bonfire to warm some marshmallows and have a Little chat around it. Back to the hotel we stopped at a lagoon called “Manialtepec” where the plancton lives and it’s like underwater fireflies, when you touch the water they shine like Little dots, we were lucky enough to get into the water and it feels like they get “sticked” and suddenly, you shine in the dark, it was magical, cameras are not able to catch this phenomenon but the memory will always remain on my heart.

No paro de contar lo enamorada que estoy de Puerto Escondido porque en verdad, fue una de las experiencias más increíbles que he vivido.

I can’t stop telling how much inlove I am of Puerto Escondido because I really am, it was one of the most magical experiences that I have ever lived.
