Crop Top

Como lo fue el velvet en otoño-invierno, el crop top es mi opción favorita para primavera-verano, ya los tenemos en diferentes estilos, cortes, colores, e incluso, longitudes.

It was velvet in fall and it’s crop tops for spring, they are my favorite clothing option and we have them in several styles, length, textures and colors.

Debo aceptar que me costó mucho adaptarme a esta tendencia, especialmente por mostrar “tanta” piel, pero me resultó muy cómoda para combinar prendas de talle alto, o también para usar el top debajo de transparencias y jugar con capas. Un crop top les va a salvar de muchos apuros, se ha vuelto un básico y no se irá pronto.

I must confess that it was kind of hard for me to adopt this trend, especially for the fact of “showing too much skin”, but at the end, I realized it was really cool to match it with high waist bottoms or also to wear it under a sheer top or layering. A crop top can solve many fashion problems; it’s a basic that won’t go away any time soon.

En este look lo traté de llevar a un aspecto más formal, aunque por formal no me refiero ir a la oficina así, me refiero a un desayuno con amigas, un evento familiar, o algún evento formal en la escuela. Si trabajas o estudias en un ámbito creativo, este look te ayudará.

For this look, I tried to make it more formal, though “formal” doesn’t mean going to your office wearing this; I mean a breakfast with your friends, a family event, or any formal event at school. If you work or study in a creative field, this look will help.

El pantalón tiene corte recto y un estampado precioso, por lo que decidí combinarlo con el crop top para no perder la forma del cuerpo, un tacón bajo con mules y un saco blanco, aprovechando el hermoso lobby del Hotel Nima para las fotos.

I’m wearing wide trousers with a lovely print, so I matched them with a crop top (so as not to lose the shape of my body), mules, and a white blazer; the location is the stunning lobby of Nima Hotel.
