How happy I am to talk about biker jackets, one of the most basic garments with so many styles to choose from; that’s why I love fashion, there’s always a color, a fabric, a print, and a fit for everyone.

Qué feliz estoy de hablar de las cazadoras de piel, una de las prendas más básicas con tantos estilos a elegir; por eso amo la moda, siempre hay un color, una tela, un estampado y un corte para todos.

This garment began to be designed for the military and aviators in the early twentieth century (along with the bomber jacket); and the zipper was added around the 30’s, which made it the favorite item for motorcyclists. Its popularity began in the 50’s with “bad boys” such as Marlon Brando, James Dean, Steve McQueen, among others. Of course, it became an object of worship for all rockers from the 70’s to the present time; and it was precisely in the 70’s that women (women’s revolution) began to use this incredible garment, so it started to be confectioned with a fit for girls.

Esta prenda comenzó a confeccionarse para los militares y aviadores a principios del siglo XX (junto con la bomber jacket); y alrededor de los años 30 se le agregó el cierre, lo que la convirtió en la favorita para los motociclistas. Su popularidad inició en los 50 con los “chicos malos” como Marlon Brando, James Dean, Steve McQueen, entre otros. Por supuesto, se convirtió en objeto de culto para todos los rockeros desde los 70 hasta la época actual; y fue precisamente en los 70 donde las mujeres (en la revolución femenina) empezaron a usar en masa esta increíble prenda y los diseñadores empezaron a feminizarla hasta llegar al día de hoy.
